The current jail at 651 I Street began operating in 1989. That facility, known as The Lorenzo Patio Hall of Justice serves as both the location of departments of the Sacramento Superior Court and also houses the Sacramento County Main Jail. It has 1,252 total cells that are rated to hold a maximum of 2,432 inmates, 90% of whom have been charged with felonies. On a typical day, there are only 20 to 30 empty beds. When the population gets too close to its maximum rated capacity, some inmates will be transferred to an overflow facility in Elk Grove, CA. The offices of Atlantis Bail Bonds is just one block from the main jail and we can get there in minutes, not hours!
