When you have been detained and are in custody of the authorities, every minute seems like an hour. Jails are crowded, miserable places where time passes slowly as you sit in your cell waiting for your release. All you can think about is what you can do to get out. At Atlantis Bail Bonds, we understand. We deal with clients every day who have a family member or friend in custody, and we never forget that every transaction has a human face. We know that arranging that person's release on bail is their top priority and it's our top priority too.
The county seat of Yolo County (which includes several cities and towns, including Davis, West Sacramento, and Winters) is Woodland, and the main county jail, known as the Monroe Detention Center and Walter J. Leinberger Memorial is located at 2420 East Gibson Road. |

The jail was opened in late 1988 with four housing pods and 234 beds. The county expanded the jail twice since then adding 79 beds to the main jail along with the opening of the 142-bed Leinberger minimum detention facility. The Yolo County jail complex currently houses 455 inmates. The jail is full most days and the Sheriffs Department is under a federal court order prohibiting it from housing more inmates than there are beds.
We have extensive professional contacts at all levels of the court system and know the specific details of the process.
