Union Member Discount Bail Bond

According to California Penal Code Section 1269b, it is the duty of the Superior Court judges in each county to prepare, adopt, and annually revise a uniform countywide schedule of bail for all bailable felony offenses and for all misdemeanor and infraction offenses except Vehicle Code infractions. The penalty schedule for infraction violations of the Vehicle Code shall be established by the Judicial Council in accordance with Section 40310 of the Vehicle Code. The schedule for Sacramento County can be viewed here.
By law, no bail bondsman or agency may charge a fee of more than 10% of the total amount of bail posted. A bail agency is, however, permitted to offer discounts off that rate. |

If you have a friend or relative who is in custody on a felony charge, there could be complications (possibly even a 1275 hold) in the process of arranging bail. This is a situation in which you should choose your bail agency carefully. We have extensive professional contacts at all levels of the court system and know the specific details of the process. Whether the bail amount is large or small, regardless of any complications (including a 1275 hold) that may arise, we attend to all the details in the shortest amount of time that the system will permit. |
